If you believe that the humidity reading from your Roost leak detector is incorrect, please be aware that humidity levels vary greatly depending on the area that you live in, the current weather, and even different rooms in your house can have different humidity levels.
You could try using a separate humidity monitor next to your device to see how accurate the readings are.
The sensor used in Roost leak detectors has an accuracy range of +/- 3.5% in the humidity range 20-80%. Outside of that range the accuracy decreases to +/- 5%.
