If your leak detector has missed a check in there are usually 3 possible causes and solutions:

Changed Wi-Fi network information

You've changed your Wi-Fi network name or password. If this is the case you will need to set up your device again.

Intermittent internet connection

Your internet was not functioning correctly when the leak detector tried to check in. Resetting your Wi-Fi router by powering it off, waiting 30 seconds, and then powering it back on usually helps resolve this type of issue.

Low Wi-Fi signal strength

The Wi-Fi signal strength in the location where you have your leak detector may not be adequate. Low Wi-Fi signal strength is the most common reason that a leak detector misses a check in.

Using your smartphone that is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your leak detector, place the smartphone right where your leak detector is located. Observe the Wi-Fi signal strength. Make sure that this signal strength is average or above. If not, you may not have adequate Wi-Fi signal strength for your leak detector where it is located.

You can often extend the range of your Wi-Fi network by installing a Wi-Fi extender or moving your Wi-Fi router to a location closer to where you want to place your leak detector.
