Security 360 Alerts

Your Security 360 Kit is equipped to help you respond to many different kinds of scenarios. Therefore, it is important to know how your system will respond both visually and audibly (and even some ways you can't see), so that you can feel prepared and ready if action is required.

System Status Guide

Disarmed- Off While in a Disarmed state, Entry and Motion Sensors will alert with light and sound, but activity will not be escalated to 24/7 Professional Monitoring. Your Leak Detectors and Alarm Listener are not affected by this status. Indicated by the "Off" Button on your Keypad.
Armed - Home

While in Armed Home, if your Entry Sensors are activated, they will initiate an Entry Delay Countdown. If this alert is not disarmed via the Keypad or Roost 360 App, it will trigger an Alarm from your SmartBase and escalation to 24/7 Professional Monitoring. They will contact you for verification to determine if dispatch is needed.

Armed - Away While the System is in Armed Away, both your Entry Sensors and Motion Sensor are active. If either device is activated in this state, they will initiate an Entry Delay Countdown. If this alert is not disarmed via the Keypad or Roost 360 App, it will trigger an Alarm from your SmartBase and escalation to 24/7 Professional Monitoring. They will contact you for verification to determine if dispatch is needed.

Note: Pressing any button on the Keypad will illuminate the button corresponding to the current state of the System, Disarmed, Armed - Home or Armed - Away. You can also check the current status via the Roost 360 App.

Alert Types

►Power Outage
When your SmartBase loses AC power, you will receive a notification alert. The SmartBase will continue to operate on battery power for up to 12 hours, and you will receive another alert once its connection is restored.

►Smoke Alarm

Your Alarm Listener device will detect the sound of a T3 Residential-style Smoke Detector going off, and alert you to a possible fire in your home.
Time to Escalation: 45 seconds of Alarming

►Water Leak

Your Water Leak Sensors will alert you to the presence of moisture wherever they are placed. The sensor will continue to alarm as long as it is detecting moisture, so it is important to respond to these alerts quickly.
Time To Escalation: 5 Minutes of Alarming

►Freezing Temperatures
To indicate possible frozen pipes or heating failure, your Water Leak Sensors are also equipped to detect and alert for temperatures below 40° F.
Time To Escalation: 5 Minutes of Alarming

►High Temperatures
To indicate possible HVAC / Air conditioning system failure, or even a potential fire, your Water Leak Sensors will also alert for temperatures above 105° F.

►Intruder Alarm

While the System is Armed, the Intruder Alarm will notify you if the Motion Sensor detects movement, or if the Entry Sensor is triggered on a door or window.
Time To Escalation: Immediate Escalation

►Panic and Hostage distress Alarms
These Alarms are used for situations when someone in the home is requesting Emergency Services. The Panic Alarm is activated by pressing the "X" and "OK" buttons located on the bottom row of the Keypad. The Hostage Alarm is a unique 4-digit PIN Code set by you within the Roost 360 App, activated by entering this PIN Code on the Keypad. Both the Panic and Hostage Alarms are "Silent Alarms", that produce no sounds, lights or messages, and instead are sent directly to our 24/7 Professional Monitors for immediate dispatch of Emergency Services.
Time To Escalation: Immediate Escalation
